I'm on gold difficulty and the xbox 360 with my Seraphim, I've got to the Octopus boss on the story and when the boss gets to roughly 10% health the game freezes and I have to restart my xbox.

I have tried doing the boss on free world on gold difficulty and have the same result, however the boss doesn't freeze on bronze or silver difficulties.

The only thing that happened differently is that someone joined my game whilst I was afk on the silver playthrough and killed the Octopus boss thus progressing my storyline without me being involved, I don't know if this could have caused the issue.

I'd really appreciate a fix as this is obviously a game breaker which is a shame as I'm really enjoying playing at the moment. I have also tried clearing the cache on the xbox with no success.

Thanks for any help offered and hopefully I can be playing normally again soon.

I remember something happened with a Windows Update, and the game no longer worked anymore. It wasn't supported, and my adventures in this game were honestly short-lived despite paying the full price tag for the game.

Now, I see that the game has been resurrected on Steam as a Gold Edition, and I'm guessing whatever bug prevented players from playing in more recent versions of Windows has been fixed.

Is there any way I can trade my key for the steam version, or something like this? I got her a type of headband (not really a helmet) that has a -6% supposedly against poisen among other bonuses. But it seems to me I heard/read that there was a bug relating to these types of protection items? That instead of protecting against it, it actually lowered her protection making her more vunerable to it? Is that correct and if so did it ever get fixed? I've read the listings about the last two patches and didn't see any reference to it. Did they just remove those types of items all together or what? I know if I do try to patch would mean some major equipment changes and not too happy about that prospect, but I would like to know about this subject.

I've had this game in a drawer for nine years and finally decided to play it. I've been rewarded with what seems to be a game-breaking bug. I'm at the Monastery attempting to find the Hologram of the Seraphim. I've cleared the Library of the Elders, but its not in the room at the NE corner where I believe it should be. Shareefa is with me. I've searched and discovered there should not only be the Seraphim Hologram, but also outside the library there should be a merchant. That merchant is not there either. I'm at level 31 so I've invested quite a bit of time. Any ideas as to what I can do to fix this? My game is patched by the way - Patch 1.7 (don't have Sacred Gold - just the original game).
